Look at the problems your religion has created Your philosophies are bullshit and they are outdated Preaching blind fucking hatred I’ve become frustrated In this modern country where hate is celebrated (Chorus) March to the apocalypse, March to the end x2 This country is an all out utter fucking mess Why the hell would I begin to ever acquiesce To those in power we begin to get much less I wish those guilty politicians would confess (Chorus) March to the apocalypse, March to the end x2 Burn it down, down to the ground Rise above, above the rest Raise your voice, put it to the test You are better, better than the rest Living in a sea of rage and a world of hate Early to the game they’re all fucking late Assholes not accepting those not like them Doomed to repeat the past once again (Chorus) March to the apocalypse, March to the end x2

You had a chance A chance to save a life But you let him loose Let him out And you let him strike You played the odds Surprise snake eyes again Lock him up Let him out Let him bite again Just a phase perhaps We all deserve a second chance And a third and a fourth and a tenth And what for safety's sake Who did you wish to castigate? the vicious animal or the innocent? Go Catch and cage the wolf Lock the gate Only To re-release the wolf There's No warning when he strikes His Crimson teeth Bite And all you can do Is weep for its prey Such empty tears Again you had the chance A chance to stop the bleed you let him out Set him free And you let him feed The cheaper alternate, what you pay is what get Empty the cage and cross your fingers. How much have you saved? Go Catch and cage the wolf Lock the gate Only To release the wolf But There's No warning when he strikes His Crimson teeth Bite And all you can do Is weep for its prey Such empty tears Another slap on the wrist Is just a slap in the face Keep repeating the cycle And never learn You never learn. Have you weighed the consequence? Factored the risk statistically? My children are innocent. What price did you put on their heads? You went and released the wolf carnage to him is natural And now we all mourn the loss But Can we fault the animal? So where do we put the blame Watch where you point your finger You opened up the fence You let this happen... I blame you.

about

What seems like forever ago but was actually just last Summer, Luke hit me up saying he wanted to finish "Repeat The Cycle". At the time it was just a drum take and scratch tracks that we had recorded with Mike Bardzik at Noisy Little Critter in 2014 when we did the sessions that became Cradles and Graves. It had the unfortunate working title of "Rabbit Guts" which is a long story of its own. He asked that we finish tracking it; we did. Then we sent it to him in L.A., where with some help from his buddy Billy Graziadei, he dropped a crushing vocal track. We were and are stoked.

Around that time, I saw that Edgewise were finishing tracking their EP with West Chester legend Fred Mascherino. I messaged Vince to see if they had extra material. They did.

A month or two later, there was a little national election. Not to over blow it all or go off on some tangent, but it was a tough time for people of a certain mindset that felt the country had previously been on the correct track from a social standpoint. I was one of those people, and Vince was too. We decided that we needed to use this release to say something. To stand up. To help out.

Then as it turns out that whole thing turned into such a mess that it was barely even worth fighting.

We were still inspired, however, to do something positive with this record. So given the extensive West Chester, PA connections for both bands, we decided that all downloads from today until the release show two weeks from now, and all physical sales of the 7" at the release show, will be donated to Safe Harbor of West Chester. I don't say this for sympathy or to sound like a tough guy or anything, but there was a time in my life where I felt I was one bad break away from needing to turn to a place like Safe Harbor. I'm proud that it is a part of our home town and prouder to help out. I am proud to share a release with Edgewise and I am proud to have been, and to continue to be, in All Else Failed. Pat/AEF.
